Dingle Oceanworld is located in the town of Dingle, one of the most picturesque villages in the region which is also part of the Gaeltacht (a small portion of the Country where people still speak the Irish language). This small aquarium has sharks, penguins, turtles and plenty of tropical fish. Another great option in Dingle is to visit Fungie, a wild Bottlenose Dolphin, nobody’s quite sure of his age but he has been in Dingle for nearly 32 years. You can take a boat tour out to see Fungie and toddlers will love trying to spot him and will be excited when they see him. Remember to bring some distraction for the boat trip! There are a lot of boat tour companies that offer trips to meet Funghi. Ask at your hotel or just go to the tourist information office in the town to see timetables and to compare prices.
