Galway has more than enough playgrounds to keep little ones happy. Doughiska Playground on Doughiska Road is a great option and there is a variety of equipment for all age groups. For the toddlers, there is an enclosed area with small swing and slides. There is also a sand section where there are diggers to dig & dump the sand. There is also an ‘in ground’ trampoline, a toddler swing, a tyre swing, a “nest” swing, see-saws, and climbing pyramid and slides. Another great option is Rinville Park, near Oranmore is a fabulous place to take toddlers. there is a  picnic area near the playground which is located in the original walled garden of Rinville Castle.
