Barbecues and picnic areas are available for those who want to make a day of it. Creek Park is one of the best spots in Dubai and has Children’s World (above), the Dolphinarium (above), toddler play areas and a great sandpit. Zabeel Park has a great toddler play area which is partially shaded. The park also has barbecue areas, picnic spots, boat rides, bike rental and camel rides.
Mamzar Beach Park
This is a public beach and park located in Dubai. The sea here is crystal clear, and there are fish close to shore and it is great for snorkeling. There are five beaches in the park, but beach four has changing/toilet facilities and volley ball nets. The sea here is sheltered, and fairly safe from currents. The water is very salty so you might prefer the hotel swimming pool.
