Doolin is a small and picturesque village near the Cliffs of Moher on the northwest coast of County Clare on Irelands Wild Atlantic Way. Set against the rugged Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by the spectacular limestone landscape of the Burren. Doolin is a great option as a base for your trip to County Clare as it is in such close proximity to so many of the sites. The town is small but has a number of little pubs and a fantastic hotel which offers stunning views of the surrounding area (see Where to Stay).
