The climate of the north and central parts of the US state of Florida is humid subtropical.

South Florida has a tropical savanna climate. Florida’s climate is mild enough throughout the year and can be enjoyed at any time. The summer season is from March to August and it is hot and humid. This is also the wet season so be prepared for some down pours or storms. Rain tends to be heavy but brief so don’t let it stop you from visiting but be prepared. This is the busiest time of the year and prices tend to be higher. February and September are great months to go in as it is not as humid or busy and prices tend to be lower. The winter months are quieter but be aware that some hotels and attractions may close during this time. For average monthly temperature charts, please click here.
