Citizens of non EU countries should apply online for a Turkish e-visa in advance of travel.

You can get these at the airport in Istanbul before clearing immigration but not at other airports. EU citizens can get their visa at the time of arrival although make sure to check the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for information in advance of travel as these policies may change.

Ataturk International Airport, Istanbul is where most international tourists fly to.
