Carluccio’s is another firm family favourite offering authentic Italian Cuisine, there are a number of these dotted throughout London.
Another great option for kids is the Rainforest Café (20 Shaftesbury Avenue), just off Piccadilly Circus. It is a tropical haven complete with waterfall, rainforest storms and moveable creatures. It offers great organic food which is ethically sourced. There is a room to store buggies, high chairs and baby changing facilities. Babies and toddlers will be enthralled with their surroundings.
For more high end dining you could try Tamarind in Mayfair (20 Queen Street) which offers child friendly dining in a Michelin star restaurant. The Ivy(1-5 West Street), in the West End is welcoming to kids provided they are well behaved and it is worth going for Sunday brunch. The Ivy has now opened in Covent Garden and this restaurant has received good reviews. Be aware that some higher end restaurants, particularly in Mayfair, may not be welcoming towards kids so be sure to check in advance.
There are plenty of other family restaurants, cafes and bars in London and you will ultimately be spoiled for choice. London is very accessible for parents with babies and toddlers.
