Most of Barcelona’s restaurants will have both high chairs and changing facilities and tapas are a perfect meal for kids as they come in small portions. Some great kids options include ham and cheese croquettes Spanish omelette and potato with egg and ham. These options will be available in most restaurants serving tapas. If you are in the mood for something other than tapas there are loads of Italian, Japanese and Indian restaurants as well as Spanish restaurants serving dishes such as paella and Catalan cuisine. Kids will love Churros, Spain’s chocolate and doughnut breakfast treat although they’re not the healthiest thing on the menu!
Where to Eat…
Placa Reial is located just off Las Ramblas and is edged with restaurants serving a variety of local and international fare. For delicious tapas try Hotel DO and for Italian, try restaurant Rossini. The Gothic Quarter, El Raval and the Born district have restaurants, cafes and ice-cream shops on every street.
