If you are staying in Dublin you will be able to walk quite easily around the city centre.
The city is generally flat and most of the sights are in close proximity to the centre. The LUAS is the city’s tram network. It runs two routes at present and you will be able to wheel your stroller on and off quite easily although try to avoid using it during rush hour. There are also extensive bus routes running in and around the city and you will also find taxis widely available. If you are using taxis, your hotel will be able to book one for you with a car seat (please see ‘Ireland, General Information’ for information on specific taxi companies which offer car seats). The DART train line is another option if you will be travelling around the city. The DART operates trains to Dun Laoghaire and Howth if you want to spend time by the sea and also to Malahide if you want to visit the fantastic Malahide Castle.
