You can fly into Cork International Airport from most major UK airports and you can also take the train or bus to the city from all major towns in Ireland.

Cork International Airport has flights to and from many major European cities although many of these routes operate during the summer months only. Year round flights operate between Cork and London, Edinburgh, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Barcelona and Krakow. City Jet are increased the offerings for this airport in late 2015 by starting flights to London City Airport and in 2016, there are plans for a new route between Cork and Boston which will be run by Norweigian. This is Cork’s first transatlantic route.

Unfortunately there are no routes between Cork and Dublin or Belfast and Dublin and travelling by train is the best way to go between these cities if you are travelling with a young child.
