The Sunwing Resort, Fanabe Beach

This baby friendly family hotel is close to Playa de la Americas and set a few hundred metres from the restaurants, bars and shops that line Fanabe beach on the Costa Adeje. This little resort packs in plenty to help adults and little ones unwind.

There are three swimming pools, all of them family-friendly in different ways.  One is shaded for babies and toddlers, while there’s another shallow pool for bigger kids, and then the huge main pool has a long, sloping shallow end that allows you to stroll in unassisted with a baby in your arms.

The hotel also offers Happy Baby suites which are situated on the ground floor; handy for popping back to the room quickly. These suites come with their own private terrace complete with a table and chairs, a playmat and a big sun shade. Inside the suite you will find a high chair, cot and bouncy chair. There is even a buggy with big wheels for the beach which allows you to keep packing to a minimum.

There is also a kids club for 3 to 7-year-olds and 8 to 15- year-olds runs five days a week and baby sitting can be arranged
